Chapel Arm is home to scenic vistas, beautiful walking trails, and excellent water for fishers, boaters and kayakers alike.

Hikers looking for a view of the ocean can enjoy Southern Cove Trail, leading from Southern Cove Beach and extending along the cliffside to the Falls. If a hike through the woods is more your speed, the trail starting at Piste-Aux-Mere Road takes you through lush forest. For a leisurely hike, the trail leading to Big Tunnel begins behind Holy Family School and follows the riverbank to a handful of swimming holes.

 

Chapel Arm Sports and Recreation Committee is responsible for a number of initiatives, including softball and basketball programs for youth in the community. The ballfield has received many upgrades over the years, including improvements to the dugouts and the new addition of bleachers.

Behind the ballfield, residents can avail of our fitness trail, which is designed to provide fitness equipment to people of all skill levels. 

 

Boaters looking for a berth in Chapel Arm can contact the Chapel Arm Boaters Association, the organization responsible for managing the wharf.
