Library and Food Pantry
Located outside Chapel Arm Municipal Building, the town maintains a Little Free Library and Little Free Pantry for use by residents.

In late 2025, free pantry services were expanded into an interior pantry room. The exterior pantry can still be accessed 24/7, however interior pantry services are limited to regular office hours. The expanded interior pantry now includes a fridge and deep freeze, therefore we are now able to accept limited donations of perishable items.

Residents are welcome to donate books, food, and personal care items inside the town office or place items directly on the shelves. Monetary donations to the food pantry can also be made at the town office toward the purchase of food on an as-needed basis. When donating food to the pantry, please refrain from donating out of date, opened, or damaged items.

Residents are welcome to avail of food from the pantry with no questions asked, but we do request that you only take what you need so that others can also avail of the service.

For more resources on affordable healthy eating, we encourage residents to familiarize themselves with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador Affordable Healthy Eating Guide.
